 The Advice Process

Initial Meeting

Step 1

Initial Meeting can take place online via video call, or in person at your home, a local café, or the adviser’s office.

What we discuss

Step 2

What we discuss During the initial meeting your adviser will want to get a better understanding of who you and your family are and what your needs and priorities are. This is done through a series of questions and scenarios that are aimed to help you think about the ‘’what if’’ moments in life.

Research

Step 3

Your adviser will take a few days to research and compare different insurance providers offerings, and see which is most suitable to your needs.

2nd meeting/presentation

Step 4

During the 2nd meeting your adviser will take you through the proposal which will include information on how the chosen insurance policy will meet your needs, as well as your budget. You will get to take the proposal document home so you have a chance to think about your options + discuss with your partner.

Adjustments

Step 5

Once you have been presented with the proposal, there is time to make changes if needed, to make sure you are comfortable and confident that the insurance policy is suited to your needs and budget. Your adviser can send you different quotes via email until you have agreed upon a suitable one you wish to proceed with.

Application

Step 6

Lodge application and final catch up taking care and attention to disclose every piece of information

Terms

Step 7

Once the insurance company has made their assessment, your adviser will discuss this offer with you and help you to make a decision to accept or decline the offer, in part or fully. Some terms can be negotiated if more information can be provided. Some terms will not apply for ever, they can be changed/removed after a certain amount of time has passed, depending on why they were applied.

Policy issued

Step 8

The client will receive a hard copy of their new policy document, and a digital copy if held on file by the adviser. This entire process could be as quick or as slow as needed, the client is in control during the entire process. No commitment is made, or premium payment due, until after the client has accepted the insurance company’s offer.

We are remunerated in the form of commission by the insurance company should the client decide to proceed, and therefore we will never ask the client to pay any fees to us.
