Accidental Death Insurance pays a lump sum of money if you pass away as a result of an accident.
The purpose of Accidental Death Cover is the same as the more commonly known Life Insurance, however the Accidental Death Cover is usually more affordable due to the limited claim criteria (accidental death only), and is often a great option for people that cannot take out standard Life Insurance due to budget constraints, their occupation or health concerns.
